Model S is the 72 inch ESD bench, and the extra foot is not about storing more. It is about fitting a second position or a piece of test equipment without pushing the work to the edge of the surface.

Sixty inches fills up fast once a scope, a soldering station, and a parts tray are on it, and an operator working at the front lip of a crowded bench is the same ergonomic problem the adjustable base was bought to solve. Seventy-two inches by 30 inches leaves the instrument on the bench and the work in front of the operator. The ESD laminate top carries through from Model R, on the same 30 to 42 inch height adjustable ergonomic base, with a 6 inch drawer, bin holder, 120 volt 15 amp power supply, overhead light, and a 72 inch by 12 inch cantilever shelf sized to the wider frame. Painted blue.

Where a station has grown past its bench, this is the direct replacement rather than a second bench pushed alongside.
