About This Caster - 2SL 050
Choose this 2-inch swivel when a compact fixture or machine has to carry a real load on a small wheel, where a light nylon or rubber caster would squash or fail but the footprint has to stay tiny.
The wheel bonds a polyurethane tread to a cast iron core, so a 2-inch wheel carries a high load on the iron without flex and rolls non-marking on the poly tread. The plain bearing keeps it simple and maintenance-free, and the top plate bolts to a small flat frame. It is the compact heavy-duty caster for loaded fixtures in tight spaces.
Ideal applications
- Compact machines and loaded fixtures on a flat frame, sealed concrete
- Small rigs that carry real weight in a tight footprint, finished floor
- Equipment bases needing high load in a 2-inch wheel, single-shift
Skip the cast iron core if the fixture is light; the 35mm nylon 2SL 035 is lighter and cheaper for low loads.
