About This Caster - 410TM08501S

Put this 8-inch 410 Series swivel on the steering corners of a hot, heavy cart that works near ovens or oily floors, where a poly tread softens and a kingpin shears under the side load.

The phenolic wheel is a hard resin tread that holds its shape through heat and oil where polyurethane fails, taking -65 to 250°F and 300°F in short bursts, for foundry, oven, and heat-treat service. Albion's 410 Contender Kingpinless swivel rides a heat-treated raceway with no kingpin to shear, so it keeps steering after the bumps that destroy a kingpinned caster. The 3-inch tread spreads the heaviest load, on a large 7-1/4 by 5-1/4 inch top plate.
