About This Caster - 110AX08228S
Specify this 8-inch polyurethane swivel for the steering corner of a heavy cart that travels long over a finished floor, where a smaller wheel drags and a cast iron wheel marks and clatters down every aisle.
The 8-inch diameter rolls over joints and debris with the least effort and keeps a loaded cart's momentum on a long run, and Albion's 110 Contender Kingpinless swivel rides a heat-treated raceway with no kingpin to shear under the steering load. The tread is polyurethane bonded to a lightweight aluminum core, maroon and non-marking, carrying a heavy load without flat-spotting and rolling quiet from -40 to 180°F. The precision ball bearing turns the load smoothly. This is the plain swivel for corners that steer rather than park.

- Long-run steering corners on the largest poly wheel
- Finished aisles where a metal wheel would mark and clatter
- Heavy carts where kingpin swivels shear under shock
