About This Caster - 120NX04201R

Set this 4-inch nylon rigid on a fixed corner of a hot or caustic washdown cart where polyurethane would soften.

The black nylon wheel is hard and high-capacity, holding up to 220°F and the harsh chemicals of a hot sanitary or caustic line, which is where it beats the polyurethane version. The trade is that a hard wheel gives no cushioning and can be hard on a soft floor, so it suits sealed concrete. It is built on the corrosion-resistant 120 Contender stainless frame, and as a rigid caster it tracks straight on the fixed corners. It runs on a precision ball bearing, bolts on a 4 by 4-1/2-inch top plate at a 5-5/8-inch mount height, and holds from -30 to 220°F.
