Set this 5-inch nylon swivel with a face brake on a hot washdown cart corner that steers, clears thresholds, then locks and holds.

A face brake presses a shoe against the wheel to stop it, holding a loaded cart in place on a ramp or at a station. The black nylon wheel is hard and high-capacity, taking heat to 220°F and harsh chemicals, with the trade that it gives no cushioning and can be hard on a soft floor. At 5 inches it clears seams while steering, the kingpinless welded swivel takes shock without a kingpin to loosen, and the stainless frame resists hot-washdown corrosion. It runs on a precision ball bearing, bolts on a 4 by 4-1/2-inch top plate at a 6-1/2-inch mount height, and holds from -30 to 220°F.
