Set this 8-inch polypropylene swivel with a face brake on the heaviest steam-clean cart corner that steers, crosses drains, then parks and holds.

A face brake presses a shoe against the wheel to stop it, so the heaviest sanitary cart holds its spot on a ramp or at a station. The white polypropylene wheel takes heat to 290°F and resists the harshest chemicals and moisture, with the trade that it is lighter-capacity than nylon and gives no cushioning. The 8-inch wheel rolls over drains while steering, the kingpinless welded swivel carries the heavy shock without a kingpin to loosen, and the stainless frame resists steam and corrosion. It steers on a corrosion-resistant stainless steel roller bearing, bolts on a 4 by 4-1/2-inch top plate at a 9-1/2-inch mount height, and holds from -20 to 290°F.
