Specify this 6-inch 16 Series swivel for a foundry cart that must hold at a pour or ladle station, the cast iron caster whose tall wheel steers through heat to 800°F and whose face brake clamps it still where a soft wheel would melt.

Rubber gives by 180°F and phenolic chars past 250°F; the 16 Series cast iron wheel carries the highest load and steers through radiant heat to 800°F, and the face brake presses a shoe against the wheel face to hold the cart at a pour or ladle station. The roller bearing carries the load at a walk, the 6-inch diameter bridges scale and slag, and the 4 by 4-1/2 top plate bolts to a flat deck. USA-made for fast shipping.
