About This Caster - 16TM05201SFBA
Choose this 5-inch braked phenolic swivel for a loaded shop cart on an oily warm floor that has to be parked and held at a station, where the wheel carries hard, resists oil, and locks in place.
The hard molded phenolic wheel carries a high load without deforming and shrugs off the oil and grease that swell elastomer treads, rated to 250°F, and the face brake clamps a shoe against the tread to hold the cart. The roller bearing carries the weight under the swivel. It is the braked phenolic 16 Series caster for the machine shop and assembly line.
Ideal applications
- Loaded machine-shop carts parked on oily floor, to 250°F
- Assembly rigs that roll then brake at each station, hard concrete
- Heavy shop carts that carry high load near warm processes, multi-shift
