Set this 8-inch Empire 170 rigid on a fixed corner of the heaviest dough trough or platform truck that crosses the worst floors on a long haul.

At 8 inches, the largest in this line, the wheel clears the biggest obstacles and pulls with the least effort, and the orange round-profile polyurethane tread is non-marking, tough, and easy-rolling on a lightweight aluminum core that will not corrode. It is built kingpinless with no central kingpin to fail under shock. As a rigid caster it tracks straight on the fixed corners, runs on a precision ball bearing, bolts on a 4 by 4-1/2-inch top plate at a 9-1/2-inch mount height, and holds from -40 to 180°F.
