Set this 5-inch Empire 170 swivel with an FBC face brake on an economical cart corner that has to steer in tight space, then park and hold.

A face brake presses a shoe against the wheel to stop it, holding a loaded cart on its spot. The FBC brake is the alternate face-brake style to the FBB version, and at a tighter swivel radius it suits a cart that maneuvers in close quarters. The AX build brings kingpinless durability and up to 1,000 pounds of capacity at this size, and at 5 inches it clears thresholds while steering. The maroon round-profile polyurethane tread is non-marking and easy-rolling on a lightweight aluminum core. It steers on a precision ball bearing, bolts on a 4 by 4-1/2-inch top plate at a 6-1/2-inch mount height, and holds from -40 to 180°F.
