Set this 8-inch Empire 170 swivel with an FBC face brake on the heaviest economical cart corner that has to steer in tight space, then park and hold.

A face brake presses a shoe against the wheel to stop it, holding the heaviest loaded cart on its spot. The FBC brake is the alternate face-brake style to the FBB version, and at a tighter swivel radius it suits a heavy cart that maneuvers in close quarters. The AX build carries up to 1,500 pounds at this size, and at 8 inches the large wheel clears the biggest obstacles while steering. The maroon round-profile polyurethane tread is non-marking and easy-rolling on a lightweight aluminum core, and the kingpinless design carries shock without a central kingpin to fail. It steers on a precision ball bearing, bolts on a 4 by 4-1/2-inch top plate at a 9-1/2-inch mount height, and holds from -40 to 180°F.
