Set this 4-inch ergonomic nylon rigid on a fixed corner of a hot or caustic-area cart where operators move loads all shift.

The 18 series cuts operator strain with a low-resistance, quiet-rolling wheel, and the black nylon version adds heat and chemical resistance the polyurethane wheel lacks, holding up to 220°F. The trade is that a hard wheel gives no cushioning and can be hard on a soft floor, so it suits sealed concrete. As a rigid caster it tracks straight on the fixed corners, and the zinc-plated frame resists corrosion. It runs on a precision ball bearing, bolts on a 4 by 4-1/2-inch top plate at a 5-5/8-inch mount height, and holds from -30 to 220°F.
