The sealed, maintenance-free precision swivel bearing significantly reduces the force to turn and steer, and the grey rubber wheel makes this the quietest, gentlest swivel in the line: non-marking and cushioned, it rolls softly and silently while protecting a finished floor for a hospital, lab, or office. It carries less than the polyurethane-on-aluminum version but rides softer. The zinc-plated frame resists corrosion. It steers on a precision ball bearing, bolts on a 4 by 4-1/2-inch top plate at a 5-5/8-inch mount height, and holds from -45 to 180°F.
