About This Caster - 310FR10501R

Set this 10-inch ductile iron rigid on a fixed corner of the heaviest foundry or oven cart that crosses the roughest hot floors.

At 10 inches, the largest in this iron line, the wheel clears the biggest obstacles and pulls with the least effort on a long hot haul, and the ductile iron metal wheel carries the highest loads while holding from -100 to 800°F. The trade is that an iron wheel is hard, noisy, and damages a soft floor, so it belongs on bare concrete or steel. It is built on the American-made 310 frame of heat-treated laser-cut steel with fully welded legs and no kingpin to fail. It rides on a roller bearing, bolts on a 6-1/4 by 4-1/2-inch top plate, and as a rigid caster it tracks straight on the fixed corners.
