About This Caster - 310PF08528SFBB
Set this 8-inch polyurethane-on-iron swivel with a face brake on a heavy-duty cart corner that maneuvers real weight, then parks and holds without marking the floor.
A face brake presses a shoe against the wheel to stop it, holding the heaviest cart on its spot. The yellow polyurethane on a cast iron core pairs high capacity with a non-marking, floor-friendly ride, and at 8 inches the wide 3-inch tread spreads the load while the kingpinless welded raceway takes the shock without a central kingpin to fail. It is built on the American-made 310 frame of heat-treated laser-cut steel with fully welded legs, rides on a precision ball bearing, bolts on a 6-1/4 by 4-1/2-inch top plate, and holds from -40 to 180°F.
