Set this 8-inch ductile iron rigid on a fixed corner of the toughest heavy foundry or oven cart that crosses rough hot floors on a long run.

At 8 inches the larger wheel rolls over expansion joints with the least effort on a haul, and the 410 carries up to 5,400 pounds across the series, the strongest Albion Contender. The ductile iron metal wheel holds from -100 to 800°F. The trade is that an iron wheel is hard, noisy, and damages a soft floor, so it belongs on bare concrete or steel. It is built kingpinless with no central kingpin to fail, rides on a roller bearing, bolts on a 5-1/4 by 7-1/4-inch top plate, and as a rigid caster it tracks straight on the fixed corners.
