About This Caster - 62NG04201R
Set this 4-inch 62 Series rigid on the back corners of a cart where chemicals attack the floor and the wheel, the Maxim glass-filled nylon caster whose hard tread carries a high load and shrugs off the solvents that swell rubber and the rust that eats iron.
A rubber wheel swells in solvent and an iron wheel corrodes in a wash bay; the 62 Series Maxim glass-filled nylon wheel is a hard, chemical-resistant tread that carries a high load to 250°F and weighs less than cast iron, which a chemical-process or wash cart needs. The roller bearing carries the dead weight at a walk, the rigid fork holds the line, and the 6-1/4 by 4-1/2 top plate bolts to a flat deck. Industrial-duty.
Ideal applications
- Back corners of chemical-process and wash carts to 250°F
- Solvents that swell rubber and corrode iron
- High load without the weight of cast iron
Skip the nylon wheel if the floor runs near 800°F or the cart needs a non-marking cushioned tread; a cast iron 62 Series wheel takes the heat and a polyurethane 62AX05228R rolls non-marking and softer.
