About This Wheel - ALB 125/15K
Step up to this 125mm wheel when a 100mm bottoms out on a dock lip and the cart runs a 15mm axle with a high load on a smooth floor.
Five inches of diameter rolls a threshold and a deep gap a 100mm jams on and lowers push effort further on a long run, while the tread is Blickle's Besthane, a firm polyurethane at 92 Shore A on a die-cast aluminium centre, carrying a high load and rolling with very low resistance. The aluminium centre carries the weight at low mass. The trade is no cushioning, so it suits a smooth hard floor. The brown tread is abrasion-resistant and holds from -4 to 158°F.
Ideal applications
- 125mm heavy carts on a 15mm axle crossing dock lips, smooth floors
- Firm Besthane one diameter up from the 100mm, very low roll resistance
- Aluminium-centre 125mm wheel moving a loaded cart easily
For more diameter and a thicker axle, the 150mm ALB 150/20K takes a 20mm shaft.
