About This Wheel - ALST 160/20K
Spec this 160mm wheel for a heavy transport cart or AGV on a 20mm axle that carries a sensitive load over the roughest floors.
At 160mm the wheel rolls expansion joints and ramps that stop a smaller wheel and cuts rolling effort on a long haul, while the tread is Blickle's Softhane, a soft polyurethane at 75 Shore A in an extra-thick elastic layer on a die-cast aluminium centre. That extra-thick softness cushions the shock of broken concrete for a sensitive load and protects the floor, with the aluminium centre carrying the high load at low weight. The 20mm bore seats a thick axle, and the green tread holds from -4 to 158°F.
Ideal applications
- 160mm heavy carts and AGVs on a 20mm axle over rough concrete
- Extra-thick 160mm Softhane cushioning a sensitive load on a haul
- 50mm green tread on an aluminium centre clearing expansion joints
For the largest ALST on the same 20mm axle, the 200mm ALST 200/20K clears the worst floors.
