About This Wheel - ALTH 100/15K-AS
Specify this 100mm antistatic wheel for a heavy electronics or ESD-area cart on a 15mm axle where a static charge would be a problem.
The AS grade makes the Extrathane tread electrically conductive, so a static charge the cart builds up rolling drains through the wheel to a grounded floor instead of arcing into a sensitive load, and it does that while still carrying a high load on its die-cast aluminium centre. The Extrathane polyurethane at 92 Shore A keeps rolling resistance low on a 15mm ball-bearing axle. The grey antistatic tread protects the floor and holds from -4 to 158°F.

- 100mm ESD-area carts on a 15mm axle near sensitive electronics
- Antistatic Extrathane draining a rolling charge to ground
- Aluminium-centre wheel carrying high load in a controlled area
For the standard non-conductive version of this 100mm wheel, the ALTH 100/15K costs less.
Pairs with: a grounded conductive fork and a 15mm axle in an ESD-controlled area.
