About This Caster - B-POEV 80KF-SB
Use this 80mm rigid on the tracking corners of a compact cart that is moved often and wants a lighter roll than a roller bearing gives.
It does not pivot, so it holds a straight line under a tow, and the ball bearing keeps the loaded wheel turning lightly through frequent moves where a roller bearing runs heavier. The tread is Blickle EasyRoll elastic solid rubber on a nylon 6 centre in blue, quiet over seams from -4 to 176°F, and a synthetic thread guard keeps carpet fibres out of the bearing. It mounts low on a 100 by 85mm plate.
Ideal applications
- Tracking corners of frequently moved compact carts
- Ball-bearing rigid wheels rolling light under repeated use
- Carpeted areas where a thread guard protects the bearing
For the heaviest slow loads, the roller-bearing B-POEV 80R-SB carries more.
