About This Caster - LE-POEV 160KA-CS11-SG
Build this 160mm swivel into a large cart or bed frame that is locked from one central bar rather than a pedal at each wheel.
The central-stop brake is the reason: a rod runs across the frame to the casters, so one action at the bar locks the wheel and swivel on every central-stop caster at once, which is how a hospital bed or a large platform cart is parked from a single lever. At 160mm it is the largest wheel here and rolls over thresholds and gaps with the least effort, and the tread is Blickle EasyRoll elastic solid rubber on a nylon 6 centre, grey and non-marking, quiet from -4 to 176°F. The ball bearing carries the loaded wheel lightly, and it bolts to a larger 140 by 110mm plate.
