About This Wheel - PATH 160/12KAD
Spec this 160mm wheel for a heavy hospital or apparatus cart on a 12mm axle that has to roll a long, rough route and keep its bearing sealed.
At 160mm, the largest wheel in this line, it rolls thresholds, ramps, and ambulance lips a smaller wheel jams on, and the 40mm-wide tread spreads a heavy deck. The D bearing is sealed, so a cover keeps wash-down water and grit off the balls and the push stays light on a route that crosses a wet bay. The tread is Blickle's thermoplastic polyurethane at 94 Shore A on a nylon 6 centre, abrasion-resistant and non-marking grey from -4 to 158°F.
Ideal applications
- 160mm heavy carts on a 12mm axle over ramps and lips
- Sealed 12mm ball bearing keeping a wet-bay route rolling light
- 40mm-wide grey TPU spreading a heavy deck on a long run
