Specify this 8-inch by 3-inch wide cast iron wheel for coil and bar-stock transport, the tall max-capacity wheel that rolls mill weight over a rough plant floor without crushing or stalling.

Moving coils, billets, or bar stock puts concentrated dead weight on a few wheels and drags it across a floor full of scale and seams. This wheel meets that with the most iron in the line, a full 3-inch tread to hold the load and an 8-inch diameter to climb over the debris and joints that stop a smaller wheel. Solid cast iron carries the static mill weight without flat-loading, and the roller bearing moves it through the slow, heavy pull. The wheel is heavy and loud, marks the floor, and serves to 180°F.
