About This Caster - 2.02254.441 MTG11
Choose this 2.5-inch Performa rubber swivel with the longer 1/2-13 x 1 stem for a leg tapped deep for full thread engagement, the quiet caster whose inch-long coarse stud bites further into the socket for a firmer hold.
More thread engagement means a firmer mount: a 1-inch 1/2-13 stud runs deeper into a tapped leg than a 3/4-inch stud, so it resists working loose under the constant nudging a busy cart takes. The thread is coarse 1/2-13, the same diameter as the short version but with more reach. The soft Grey Performa rubber tread keeps the cart quiet and non-marking, and the Delrin plain bearing rolls maintenance-free. At 2.5 inches it keeps a low deck. It is the firm-hold quiet caster for a deep coarse-tapped leg.
