About This Caster - 2.02254.53 MTG10
Choose this 2.5-inch polyolefin swivel with the short 1/2-13 x 3/4 stem for a greenhouse propagation cart on a shallow-tapped leg, the no-rust caster whose stud seats flush in a short socket and needs no grease in the damp.
The molded polyolefin wheel neither rusts nor absorbs water, and the Delrin plain bearing rolls maintenance-free, which suits a misted propagation or potting cart, while the 3/4-inch 1/2-13 stud seats fully in a short coarse-tapped boss without bottoming out. At 2.5 inches it keeps a low deck. The trade is a firmer, louder ride than rubber. It is the economical no-maintenance caster for a damp cart on a short coarse-tapped leg.
