Specify this 3.5-inch conductive Performa rubber rigid caster with the ball bearing and top plate where a rolling cart must not build a static charge, the carbon-loaded tread that bleeds static down to the floor and the fixed yoke that keeps the cart tracking straight.

The conductive rubber compound gives static a path from the load through the caster to a grounded floor, so charge does not build on a cart near electronics or in a clean area, the ball bearing rolls a heavier load easy, and the rigid yoke holds the line straight behind the swivel corners. The tread still rolls soft and non-marking on a finished floor. A conductive caster only works on a conductive, grounded floor, so confirm your floor before you order. It is the static-draining rubber rigid for the back corners of a sensitive-load cart.
