Glass-filled nylon holds its shape and capacity at temperatures that would soften a rubber or polyurethane tread, so this wheel rolls through bake lines, ovens, and heat-cure tunnels without going soft, the plain bore carries the heat where a Delrin or ball bearing would fail, and the rigid yoke tracks the rack straight in and out. The wheel is hard, so it rolls with low resistance but passes more floor shock through. Confirm your plate pattern and temperature before you order.
