About This Caster - 2.03254.565 COND MTG11 BRK5
Specify this 3.5-inch conductive round-tread Performa rubber swivel with the ball bearing, total lock brake, and 1/2-13 threaded stem for static-sensitive equipment that turns often and must park dead still, the carbon-loaded crowned tread that drains charge to ground and the total lock that pins both the wheel and the swivel.
The conductive rubber gives static a path from the load through the caster to a grounded floor, the crowned round tread keeps the contact patch small so the equipment swivels with less effort, the 1/2-13 stem threads into a half-inch tapped boss, the ball bearing rolls the load easy, and the total lock pins the wheel and the swivel so it neither rolls nor turns when parked. A conductive caster needs a conductive, grounded floor to work. Confirm your boss is 1/2-13 UNC and your floor is grounded before you order. It is the static-draining fully-locking round-tread swivel for sensitive turning equipment.
Ideal applications
- Static-sensitive turning equipment on a 1/2-13 tapped boss
- Electronics or clean line that drains charge and parks dead still
- Crowned tread that swivels easy on a grounded conductive surface
Floor is not conductive, or you need no brake? A standard round-tread threaded swivel does the job without the static path.
Pairs with: the non-conductive round-tread ball threaded swivel 31M1B35X41-03 where static is not a concern.
Wrong fit? Need a plain swivel or a top-plate conductive caster? See the round-tread Delrin threaded swivel 31M1H35X41-03 and the conductive round-tread rigid 31M1B35GT-03.
Also in this family: the polyurethane ball total-lock threaded swivel 31JB35X4105-03, or the 2 Series caster collection.
