The 1/2-13 stem threads into a half-inch boss and the one-inch length seats fully, the top lock brake stops the wheel so the cart holds at a bench, the soft rubber tread cushions a light load, the 3-inch wheel keeps the deck low, and the plain bore suits slow moves between stops.
