About This Caster - 2.04254.445 COND MTG11
Specify this 4-inch conductive Performa rubber swivel with the ball bearing and 1/2-13 threaded stem where boss-mounted equipment must not build a static charge, the carbon-loaded tread that drains charge to ground and the one-inch stem that threads into a half-inch tapped boss.
The conductive rubber gives static a path from the load through the caster to a grounded floor, the 1/2-13 stem threads into a half-inch boss and locks with a jam nut, the ball bearing rolls a loaded cart easy, and the bigger 4-inch wheel clears thresholds. A conductive caster only works on a conductive, grounded floor, so confirm your boss is 1/2-13 UNC and your floor is grounded before you order. It is the static-draining big-wheel threaded-stem rubber swivel for sensitive boss-mounted equipment.
