Glass-filled nylon holds its shape and capacity at heat that would soften a rubber or polyurethane tread, so the wheel rolls through ovens and heat-cure tunnels without going soft, the plain bore carries the heat where a ball or Delrin bearing would fail, the tall 5-inch wheel clears the biggest thresholds, and the rigid yoke tracks the rack straight. The wheel is hard, so it rolls with low resistance but passes more floor shock. Confirm your plate pattern and temperature before you order.
