About This Caster - D4.05108.539 WN SS WB29
Pick this 5-inch Defender D4 rigid when a sanitary cart carries real weight, is pushed slowly, and needs a hard wheel that ignores moisture.
The roller bearing carries the most weight of the three bearings at a slow pace, and the white nylon wheel resists chemicals and moisture, stays stable when wet, and wipes clean for sanitary use. At 5 inches it clears thresholds more easily than a smaller wheel, on a stainless steel frame for wet, corrosive bays. Nylon leaves no color mark, but it is a hard wheel that gives no cushioning and can scratch a soft floor. Rigid means it tracks straight at the rear. It serves from -20 to 180°F.
