About This Caster - D4.06109.921 SS
Pick this 6-inch Defender D4 swivel when a wash-down cart steers, clears thresholds, protects the floor, and carries more than rubber, grease-free.
The swivel head guides the cart through tight spaces, with a 4.875-inch swivel radius to allow, and the HI-TECH polyurethane wheel is a non-marking tread that takes more load than soft rubber, resists abrasion, and will not flat-spot when parked, staying gentle on finished floors. The Delrin plain bearing runs grease-free and corrosion-proof, and the taller 6-inch wheel clears door tracks and joints with the least effort, on a stainless steel frame for corrosion. Compared with a hard plastic wheel it gives a little under load and rolls with less effort. It serves from -45 to 180°F.
