About This Caster - 160-3SB

Use this 3-inch Faultless swivel on the corner of a warehouse cart that rolls and then has to stay put on a sloped or busy floor.

A tread-lock brake presses a shoe on the wheel to stop it rolling once the cart is parked, while the swivel stays free to point. The 3-inch diameter clears thresholds, and the Faultless 100 Series trades on strength, durability, and a low price for general plant duty. The wheel is a hard polyolefin, a black tread that rolls easy and resists moisture from -20 to 180°F, it bolts down through a 3-1/8 by 4-1/8 inch top plate, and the plain bearing keeps the roll simple.

Ideal applications

• 3-inch warehouse corners that park on a grade or in traffic
• General plant carts held still without a separate floor chock
• Economical hard wheels braked on a larger top plate

If the corner only rolls, the plain 160-3R drops the brake and the cost.
