Mount this 3-inch Faultless 400 Series rigid at the back of a working cart that needs a heavier-built frame than the light-duty line while still tracking dead straight.

The 400 Series steps up from the basic 100 Series with a stouter rig, and the rigid build holds a fixed line so it tracks straight and carries the load while swivels up front do the steering. The 3-inch polypropylene wheel is hard and economical, resisting chemicals and moisture without absorbing water, so it wipes clean and stands up to spills, though that hardness means it can mark a soft floor. A plain bearing keeps it simple, and the broad 2-15/16-inch by 4-1/8-inch top plate spreads the load on the zinc-plated frame, which suits general indoor service rather than wash-down. It is rated to 180°F.
