About This Caster - 527-3R

Put this 3-inch rubber rigid under a light warehouse cart that has to clear small floor debris and roll without noise.

The black rubber tread cushions the load and runs quietly, and at 3 inches with a wider 1-1/4-inch face it rolls over cracks and small debris that snag a 2-inch wheel. It is an economy 100 Series caster on a plain bearing, so it carries light loads and the occasional move rather than steady production cycles. The rigid frame holds a straight line as a fixed corner. Black rubber can mark a light floor, so keep it on concrete or back-of-house areas. It bolts on a larger zinc-plated top plate than the 2-inch version.
