Specify this 5-inch swivel for the rolling legs of medical equipment on a threaded frame, where a taller wheel clears thresholds and a quiet non-marking tread protects the floor.
The plain swivel rolls and turns freely on a precision ball bearing, so the equipment moves with one hand and steers in tight rooms. The 1/2-13 threaded stem screws straight into the equipment leg, the 5-inch wheel clears thresholds and elevator gaps, and Medcaster builds the Next Generation rig from glass-filled nylon, so it resists disinfectant without rusting and runs maintenance-free. The grey non-marking rubber tread on a polyolefin core rolls quietly over hospital vinyl.
