About This Caster - ER8X2PODDTBK

Set this 8-inch polypropylene rigid on a heavy wash-down cart corner that rolls wet over the roughest ground with no greasing and has to park locked.

The all-plastic build is the point in a wet bay: the Delrin acetal bearing needs no grease and cannot rust, and the tread lock brake presses a pad onto the hard polypropylene tread to stop the wheel rolling once parked, holding a heavy cart on a grade from a rigid corner. The wheel ignores water and cleaners, and at 8 inches, the largest in the E-line, it clears expansion joints and broken concrete. The hard wheel rides firm with no cushion. It bolts on a 4 by 4-1/2-inch top plate and holds from -45 to 180°F.
