About This Caster - ES4X2TPRDTBK
Choose this 4-inch E-line swivel for the front of a wash-area cart that pauses to load, the wide-tread TPR caster whose tread lock stops the wheel while a greaseless Delrin bore steers through the damp.
The swivel steers the cart, the tread lock clamps the wheel at a stop, and the Delrin bearing has no grease to rinse out and no race to corrode in a wash-down area. The 4 by 4-1/2 top plate bolts to a flat deck, the 4-inch diameter keeps the deck low, and the wider 2-inch Pemco TPR rubber on a polypropylene core stays soft and quiet with no marks on a sealed wet floor.
Ideal applications
- Front of wash-area carts that pause to load
- Greaseless steer with a wheel stop in the damp
- Low bolt-on decks that need a corrosion-proof brake
Skip the TPR wheel if the cart loads near the top of its range or works near heat over 180°F; a TPU polyurethane or cast iron caster carries the weight where rubber softens.
