About This Caster - ES6X2PODBTBK

Use this 6-inch swivel on a frequently moved hard-wheel cart that clears thresholds, rolls light all shift, and then has to hold its spot.

The 6-inch diameter clears a higher seam than a smaller wheel, a precision ball bearing keeps the wheel and swivel turning with little effort, and a tread-lock brake presses a shoe on the wheel to stop it once parked. The wheel is a USA-made polyolefin, a hard black tread that resists moisture from -45 to 180°F and will not flat-spot under the wheel-lock when parked, and it bolts down through the standard E-line 4 by 4-1/2 inch top plate.

Ideal applications

• Busy 6-inch hard-wheel carts that clear seams then park locked
• Precision ball bearing braked on a frequent-move 6-inch corner
• Economical polyolefin held still on a busy floor
