About This Caster - ES6X2PODD
Pick this 6-inch swivel for a hard-wheel cart that runs wash-down or a damp area and needs to clear thresholds without a greased bearing.
The 6-inch diameter clears a higher seam than a smaller wheel, and the Delrin plain bearing runs without lubrication and resists corrosion, so it stays smooth where moisture or cleaning chemicals would foul a roller bearing. The wheel is a USA-made polyolefin, a hard black tread that resists moisture and chemicals from -45 to 180°F and will not flat-spot when parked, and it bolts down through the standard E-line 4 by 4-1/2 inch top plate. It runs quiet at a moderate load.
Ideal applications
- 6-inch wash-down carts where a greased bearing would foul
- Maintenance-free Delrin clearing seams with no axle to lube
- Hard polyolefin wheels in clean and food-area service
