The narrow crowned contact lets a moving cart turn freely, so a tugger string snakes a route with bends in it instead of fighting each corner, and the precision ball bearing keeps the bore cool and true over the distance. The 5-inch diameter holds a steady roll between turns, and the soft Colson Performa rubber on a polypropylene core stays quiet and non-marking the length of the run.
