Pick this 8-inch Performa wheel for carts that get pulled in a train or moved at speed, where the wheel has to run true at a faster roll without the bearing heating up or wandering.
The precision ball bearing is the reason: it is held to a tighter tolerance than a standard bearing, so it runs smoother and cooler at the higher speeds of a tow line or a powered tug. The 8-inch diameter rolls over rough floor and keeps a train tracking straight, and the soft Colson Performa rubber on a polypropylene core keeps the quiet, non-marking ride through the whole route.
Ideal applications
- Tow-line cart trains pulled by a tug, warehouse and corridor floor
- Larger transport carts moved at speed, finished or sealed floor
- Quiet-zone rigs that need an 8-inch wheel and a true, fast roll
Skip the precision ball bearing if the cart is hand-pushed at walking pace; a standard ball or roller bearing carries the same load for less where speed is not the point.
