Specify this wide 5-inch Performa wheel for a heavier institutional cart that still needs to run quiet, the full 2-inch tread on a greaseless Delrin bore that spreads a dietary or bulk-supply load across more rubber.
The 2-inch tread width is the difference here: it widens the contact patch so a heavier cart rides on more rubber and resists the flattening a narrow wheel would show, while the 5-inch diameter keeps the long easy roll. The Delrin bearing needs no maintenance and stays silent through a wash aisle, and the soft Colson Performa rubber on a polypropylene core protects a finished floor and leaves no marks.
