Specify this 3-inch wide-tread polyolefin wheel for a wash-down utility cart, the wheel that keeps rolling through the water, food acids, and cleaning chemicals that rust a steel bearing and rot a rubber tread.

A bus-tub cart or a janitor rig gets soaked daily, and that is where ordinary wheels fail fastest: rubber swells and peels, and a greased bearing washes out and seizes. The molded polyolefin wheel has no rubber and no steel to corrode, and the Delrin plain bearing takes no grease, so the wheel survives the hose-down and the spills that destroy other wheels. The wider 1-1/4 inch tread carries a steadier load than the narrow polyolefin wheels. The ride is firm and non-marking.
