Choose this 5-inch polyurethane-on-aluminum wheel in the softer 80A tread for a slick or delicate floor where grip and cushion matter more than maximum load, the quiet wheel that grabs the floor and absorbs the bumps.

The 80A durometer is the whole difference from the standard firm tread: a softer polyurethane deforms slightly to grip a polished or slick floor and to cushion a load over seams and small debris, where a firm tread would slide or transmit the shock. Bonded to a rigid aluminum core, it still rolls easy and quiet on a precision ball bearing and leaves no mark. The trade is a little less load capacity and a touch more rolling resistance than the firm version. It suits floors that are easy to scuff or hard to grip.

• Broadcast or AV cart needing silent roll and floor grip
• Slick polished floor where a firm tread would slide
• Sensitive load cushioned over seams on a finished floor

Skip the 80A tread if you need the most load and the easiest roll; the firmer standard version 41H1C52-02 carries more with less rolling resistance.
