Specify this 4-inch Moldon polyurethane-on-aluminum wheel for a low cart that carries a real load but has to stay light to lift and install, the strength-to-weight wheel that holds capacity without the mass of a cast wheel.
A cart that gets loaded, lifted, and re-spotted by hand pays a price for heavy wheels: a cast-iron wheel of this capacity is a chore to handle. The Moldon polyurethane tread on a lightweight aluminum core carries a comparable load at a fraction of the weight, so the cart is easier to build, move, and maneuver, and the tread stays non-marking on a finished floor. The roller bearing carries the load through slow travel, and the aluminum core stays rigid under it. At 4 inches it keeps the deck low.
