Fit this 8-inch rubber-on-iron wheel to a heavier transport cart that has to clear obstacles and carry more on a longer run.

The tread is mold-on rubber bonded to a cast iron core, cushioning the load and running quietly while the iron center carries the weight. At 8 inches across a 2-1/2-inch face it clears expansion joints and debris and spreads a heavier load over more contact area than the narrow series. The cushioned tread keeps the ride smooth on rough floors, with the trade that the rubber can chunk under severe overload and black rubber may mark a light floor. It rides on a roller bearing for manual moving and holds from -45 to 180°F.
